Hostel receptionist - night shift position - Faro

We are Hiring! Hostel Receptionist – Full-Time

Join the Night-Shift Hostel Reception team and work in a global, fun, and homely environment. Come be part of the first and most popular hostels in Faro!

Main responsibilities:

• Provide a friendly, welcoming, and efficient service to all guests, both at the front desk and with general office duties (emails, bookings, payments).

• Ensure the smooth running of the reception and assist with front of house operations.

• Handle customer complaints efficiently and politely, seeking solutions together with your peers.

• Engage with travellers, take their orders, and serve beverages and refreshments according to Hostel protocols.

Minimum requirements:

• Prior experience in handling travellers.

• Capability to work effectively under pressure.

• Problem-solving attitude.

• Good communication skills in Portuguese and proficiency in English (other languages are a plus).

• Enjoy working with the public and as part of a team.

• Willingness to work in night-shifts.

• Portuguese language is mandatory.
