Our client in Belgium is recruiting for technical positions. We are looking for qualified technicians for our clients in

the food industries ( cheese, beer, hummus, coffee, meat).

Technician in the food industry

(Locations: Brugge, Puurs-Sint-Amands, Tessenderlo, Gent) Responsibilities:

 Diagnostics of machinery and equipment on the production line, fixing any problems or failures

 Making electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs

 Conduct work on adjustment, repair and preventive replacement of parts and equipment in the

production line

 Conducting activities to maintain and improve production, including optimizing equipment

parameters

 Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for machinery, packaging machinery and

production-related facilities (filter boxes, control boxes, raw material supplies, etc.).

 Perform disassembly, repair and rebuilding of equipment on the production line

 Repairing current malfunctions of production machinery and equipment

 Collaborate with production operators to perform machine maintenance and repairs

 Diagnosis and troubleshooting

 Preventing and reducing downtime on the production line (servicing machines, detecting errors

and fixing them)

 General maintenance work (replacement of damaged lighting, controllers, etc.).

Requirements:

 Technical or higher education in the field of electrical/electromechanical/mechanical

engineering

 Experience of a minimum of one year in the profession, and working in the food industry will be

an advantage

 Good level of English

 Ability to work from technical documentation

 Motivation for action and perseverance in solving technical problems

 Suggest improvements, implement them in accordance with food safety requirements

 Willingness to work shifts with the possibility of overtime

Financial terms:

 Basic rate depending on work experience (from 18€ gross - 25€ gross)

 Working on a Belgian contract with all benefits: 13st, holiday money, mileage, family allowance,

health insurance and accident insurance
