looking for a Manager to manage our specialty coffee branches in Porto

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Manager to oversee and manage our three specialty coffee branches in Porto. The ideal candidate will ensure operational excellence, team performance, and high-quality customer experience while maintaining brand standards across all our locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures

• Leading, supervising, and motivating branch staff

• Creating staff schedules and ensuring adequate shift coverage

• Monitoring service quality and customer satisfaction

• Handling customer feedback and resolving complaints professionally

• Managing cash handling, daily sales reports, and basic financial tracking

• Coordinating with suppliers and overseeing stock control

• Ensuring compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations

• Maintaining consistency with brand standards and operational procedures

• Communicating effectively with ownership and our branch teams

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manager or in a similar managerial role within hospitality or retail

• Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written)

• Proven experience managing teams and daily operations independently

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally

• Comfortable using POS systems and basic digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, messaging apps)

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts

• Legal authorization to work in Portugal

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cafés, brunch restaurants, or hospitality-focused environments

• Knowledge of cost control, stock management, and operational KPIs

• Additional language skills (Spanish or French are a plus)
