"As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for managing outstanding receivables from key accounts and agencies in the digital advertising industry. You will handle customer interactions via email, voice and video calls, following strict SOPs and service quality protocols. This role requires a balance of professionalism, negotiation and empathy to ensure that overdue balances are recovered efficiently while maintaining strong customer relationships."

Key Responsibilities: 

• Proactively reach out to customers with overdue balances via voice or written communication to encourage timely payments; 

• Manage the dunning process, including collection letters, reminders, formal notices, and escalation to senior management and sales when necessary;

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to reduce disputes and ensure future payments are timely;

• Investigate and resolve payment disputes by collaborating with internal stakeholders (sales, customer service, legal);

• Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and billing information;

• Ensure efficient collection processes to reduce credit risk and minimize profit loss.Required experience:

• Prior experience of 2+ years of experience in collections or credit control, preferably for Key Accounts & Agencies in the Digital sector (mandatory);

• Proven ability to manage B2B collection cycles, handle sensitive financial matters and engage in professional negotiation;

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and customer-centric approach (European Portuguese C2 + English B2);

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail;• Familiarity with debt collection tools, CRM systems and reporting platforms;

• Exhibits sound business judgment and ability to influence others to deliver results;• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Languague requirments (both languages written and oral):

• Portuguese (Native European) C2 level;

• English B2;

Contract: 6 months renewable;

Salary: 900.00 euros gross  + Skill adder Bonus paid in 12 months of 50.00 euros.

Meal allowance: 7.63€ per working day (paid in card; free of taxes)

Working hours: 8 hours per day, on rotating shifts:                       

Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00  or  14:00 to 22:00(Days Off - Saturday and Sunday).
