Stackable and with handles at each end for carrying. Lids can be locked to the box and are reasonably airtight, but not water tight. There are additional holes for zip ties or padlocks to secure the lids. Can hold an incredible amount of weight. I used these to ship my personal effects overseas on a pallet, stacking them 3 boxes high. We had no breakages in transit, although one of the boxes has a crack in the side and in the lid. It can still be used/stacked on top of, but may not be as strong as the other boxes. The heaviest box was full of metal tools and weighed over 150lbs (68kg). It was moved up 2 flights of stairs multiple times without breaking or damaging the box. These would be perfect for moving, storing, or shipping on a protected pallet as we did.
