SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS - Macintosh

Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) requires an Intel-based Mac with at least 1 GB of memory, 5 GB of available disk space and a DVD drive for installation. It specifically releases PowerPC support but retains PowerPC application compatibility via Rosetta technology. For full support for features such as 64-bit mode, Grand Central Dispatch and OpenCL, a Mac is needed with a suitable 64-bit processor and graphics card.
