The Chase Bliss Audio MOOD Granular Micro-Looper/Delay is the wonderful experimental result of the successful collaboration of innovative effect inventors. At the heart of the Mood are its interactively interacting channels for reverb/delay sounds and a phrase looper based on granular synthesis. The first includes effect algorithms for room-filling sounds developed by Old Blood Noise Endeavors, while the Looper section was written by Belgian pedal guru David Rolo of Drolo FX and features an envelope mode with dynamic response, a tape mode for different playback speeds and a time-elastic time-stretch mode. It's really interesting to use the Clock control, which globally accelerates or slows down the tempo of the Chase Bliss MOOD and develops whole loops into atmospheric background sounds or rhythmically pulsating patterns. Of course, MOOD offers classic features such as real-time control of parameters via expression pedal, MIDI control and the ability to save presets.
