For the devoted collectors... A RARE family heritage: A classic non-chronograph Breitling dated 1945

Regardless of gender, Vintage watches are super chic, and they’re making a serious comeback this current year. These kind of timepieces serve as conversation starters, statement-making accessories and, you know, ways to tell time.

You are watching on a pre-owned Vintage - dated 1945 - a rare three-hand model for Breitling. The case material is 20 micron gold plated with Stainlees Steel back. This classy non chronograph is in excellent condition and full working order. The watch was fully serviced (fully disassemble, cleaning of the movement and case, checked and inspection, and reassemble of the watch) on 2003 and since then has been kept in a case. It is sold AS-IS.

Highly collectable, with an elegant champagne color face, this beautiful timepiece, has its factory serial number engraved on the case back (photo 2). The Breitling signature appears on the original dial.

The outer circumference of the dial features the seconds counting and small dots index some hours, giving the dial a spacious feel. The case is in excellent condition and shows no signs of use. This is a great opportunity to wear it as if you were the first owner.

The 1930's and early 1940's were an exploratory time for watch manufacturers as is evidenced by the great diversity of case designs during this important period of the development of the wristwatch.

Presented here is a wonderful example from a non chronograph Breitling, housed in a gold plated case that is wonderfully preserved, free of flaws and no visible signs of imperfections. It is fitted with a beautiful dial which is particularly well preserved.

This Classic/Formal dress style men's wristwatch is a very rare, highly attractive, exquisite and collectable vintage timepiece from Breitling, Swiss Manufacturer since 1884...

Be mindful of the case size. Its dimension was the norm back in the days 1945 but for some of us it can look small in our ‘modern’ times. Nowadays it may be considered as a unisex timepiece.

2) DIAL & HANDS: Genuine and not restored. It is a very beautiful dial with some light patina and in excellent condition. A very rare non chronograph timepiece! The face is signed Breitling. The factory markings and original dial are key to identifying this as an authentic vintage Breitling timepiece.

3) CROWN: Genuine, in excellent condition and working as it should. Not signed as it was usual back in the days.

4) CRYSTAL: Original, Plexiglass in excellent condition.

5) MANUAL MOVEMENT: Very clean movement and beautiful. Keeps time. The movement is in stunning condition as it has been fully serviced at - Centro de Reparações Breitling - by DIAMANTOURO / Porto during 2003 (last two photos).

6) BRACELET/STRAP: AS NEW - Genuine leather brand / Leather Color: Camel / Buckle: Stainless steel chrome buckle with Breitling logo.

7) DETAILS: All original. NO Box and NO original Papers, just the service papers dated 2003 as shown in the last photos.

8) GENERAL CONDITION: This mechanical (Hand-winding) vintage Breitling timepiece is in excellent working condition... Worn with little to no signs of wear. A rare example from 1945!

9) PROVENANCE: This handsome watch comes from my father in law private collection. He has been the only and original owner of this exquisite watch! Now a VINTAGE COLLECTIBLE, it has been stored in a dust-free, smoke-free, pet-free dry environment in Lisbon, Portugal-EU, since its last servicing, e.g., 2003. Kept in a appropriate temperature maintained vault since then, not worn.
