CARAVAN is a convertible cot which can be used from birth to 6 years old. It meets requirements of young parents in terms of security, practicality, design and ecology. Inspired by the circus world and famous circus wagons, it combines contemporary forms and ultra-bright colours.
The mattress is height adjustable on two positions for the convenience of parents, then when baby grows up this bedconverts easily to a platform style toddler bed. At this stage, you can also add the convertible kit composed of 3 side barriers (not included).
The heirloom quality, fixed-side frame is made from solid, domestic Maple and features a 2-point adjustable mattress height (mattress support is made from solid wood veneer plywood). All the lumber used is sustainably harvested. The Raw option is sanded to a smooth finish so that you can select your own finish or enjoy the wood in its pure state. The exposed wood parts of the colored cribs are finished with an oil-wax finish that carries an SCS Indoor Advantage Gold Certification. The colored rails use a water-based GreenGuard certified finish. These materials were thoughtfully selected to offer a piece with no toxins and no off-gassing for the environment, the craftspeople and you.
Made from solid, domestic Maple. Mattress support is solid wood veneer plywood. Raw option has no finish. Color options have both a natural, non-toxic oil/wax finish and a water-based, GreenGuard certified lacquer finish.
