The Creative Inspire 6.1 6700 speaker system delivers a new level of surround sound in movies, games and music. It gives an intense, immersive 6.1 channel home theatre experience. When combined with a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 sound card it also supports Dolby Digital Surround EX playback. It will up-mix 5.1 content to 6.1 when used with 5.1 cards such as Sound Blaster Audigy or Live! 5.1. The sixth channel is provided by a rear center surround speaker which supports the standard four surround satellites. A new high-powered front center unit, to ensure precise voice performance, is also included. The highly reinforced wood subwoofer with dual-flared port tubes provides cleaner, smoother bass, and the wired remote offers total control plus headphone connectivity.
