Para quem é "apegado" aos carros como eu, isto é uma decisão muito difícil. Ponderada, talvez não acertada...
Temos para venda o nosso Datsun 1600 SSS, RHD, original, proveniente de África do Sul, que se encontra na família há cerca de 10 anos. Participante em vários encontros DatsunPT, foi durante este período um daily-driver do meu Pai (em conjunto com o 1200).
Nunca foi sujeito a um restauro total. Porquê? Porque não precisava, tendo sido somente arranjado a lateral traseira esquerda e dada uma pintura geral. De interiores está razoável. Sendo RHD tem o quadrante (tablier) japonês com manómetros extra. Muito lindo e está tudo funcional. Se está perfeito? Não, precisa de algumas pequenas melhorias, mas é um carro muito bem cuidado e muito sólido.
Tem o motor original, matching numbers, que foi reparado no passado. Tem a particularidade de ter a rara e famosa cabeça de motor "219", com janelas de admissão maiores, sendo as mais procuradas pelos entusiastas e preparadores.
Mecanicamente está pronto para qualquer viagem, sendo entregue revisionado. Tem jantes especiais de época, já vieram com o carro.
O motivo da venda é simples: o nosso Pai já não anda com ele e quer eu, quer o meu irmão já temos 1, cada um. Vê-lo degradar-se será bem mais penoso, do que vendê-lo a alguém, nesta altura, que o use e o possa estimar. Mais detalhes a verdadeiros interessados e por MP. For someone as "attached" to cars as I am, this is a very difficult decision. Pondered, maybe not right...

We have for sale our Datsun 1600 SSS, RHD, from South Africa, original, which has been in the family for about 10 years. A participant in several DatsunPT meetings, it was my father's daily driver during this period (along with the 1200).

It has never been completely restored. Why? Because it didn't need it, having only had the rear left side fixed and a general paint job. The interior is reasonable. Being RHD, it has a Japanese dashboard with extra gauges. Very nice and everything is functional. If it is perfect? No, it needs some minor improvements, but it is very well cared for and very solid car.

It has the original engine, matching numbers, which was repaired in the past. It has the particularity of having the rare and famous "219" engine head, with larger intake conductors, which are the most sought after by enthusiasts and preparers.

Mechanically, it's ready for any trip and will be delivered serviced. It has special vintage rims, which came with the car.

The reason for the sale is simple: our father no longer drives it and both my brother and I already have one each, as well as other Datsuns.
