It is not every day we see such great guitar on sale, normally these guitars goes from teachers to the best students, which is the case, and sometimes life goes in a different direction and here we have it.
The label of this guitar is signed and was made in 2001 in Toledo, Spain by Manuel Rodriguez & Hijos. This was the high end model at the time with the price of 2500 euro back then, this FC model it is still made today with different features.
After playing a while with the guitar I realized it has an incredible volume not common in Spanish guitars, probably due to the special and original bracing it has inside, the sustain is impressive as well. A great instrument to play live in auditoriums without amplification. The action is very comfortable and it has 53mm at nut which is perfect for larger hand players. The intonation is perfect, it has a luthier made compensated saddle, great balance between strings with very good voices separation with warm tone. This guitar is also made with all solid first class woods. Probably this is the description of a really high end guitar.
The overall condition is great, a couple of minor dings here and there, the varnish seems to be lacklustre in the back and some parts of the sides, probably a good polish would make it all shinny again.
It includes its original hard case.
