Okto Research DAC8 Stereo – Estado impecável, som de referência

Vendo Okto DAC8 Stereo, um dos DACs mais considerados da atualidade pela sua transparência absoluta, baixo ruído e conversão extremamente precisa. É um aparelho “state of the art”, ideal para sistemas de alta fidelidade exigentes.

Comprei-o porque tanto o Atkinson, da Stereophile (procurar no site "okto dac8"), quanto o Amir, da Audio Science Review (procurar no site "okto dac8" ou por review "14705"), coincidiram sobre a sua excelência (o que é difícil de acontecer, como sabem):

“Almost identical to the multichannel dac8 PRO in appearance, the dac8 Stereo features a ¼" headphone jack, two pairs of balanced-output XLR jacks, and a plethora of inputs: one AES3 (XLR); four S/PDIF (two coaxial RCA, two TosLink optical); USB Type B; two USB Type A; and Ethernet (RJ45). The ESS Sabre DAC chips offer a choice of seven reconstruction filters for PCM data and two ultrasonic low-pass filters for DSD data. Despite its affordable price, the dac8 Stereo was one of the highest-resolution D/A processors JA had experienced—21 bits, rivaled only by the HoloAudio May, the MBL N31, the Mola Mola Tambaqui, and the Weiss DAC502. Como novo, muito estimado, sempre usado em ambiente doméstico. Totalmente funcional, sem riscos ou marcas.

Inclui como Extras:

a) Comando Apple Remote emparelhado para controlo do DAC (indicado pelo rectângulo azul numa das fotos) - custou-me 25 €;

b) Conversor XLR-RCA feito segundo as especificações do Manual de Utilizador na página apresentada (chip Neurochrome Universal Buffer) - custou-me 200 € em peças, indicado pelo rectângulo amarelo nas fotos.

Não inclui:
Cabos de alimentação nem de sinal (coaxial, XLR ou RCA).

Como podem ver na última foto, o preço dele novo é de 1585,47 € e não inclui nem o comando nem o conversor XLR-RCA como partes integrantes desta venda.
