It is with some reluctance that I am offering this rare and exceptionally complete digital front-end system for sale.

The package consists of:

Sonore ultraRendu 1.0

The Sonore ultraRendu has achieved near-legendary status among computer-audio enthusiasts.

Although it has been on the market for several years, it remains a highly capable, purpose-built and fanless network-audio endpoint with an excellent reputation for sound quality, reliability and flexibility.

This unit has already been upgraded to Sonicorbiter software version 2.9 and is ready for immediate use.

Depending on the selected Sonicorbiter application, the ultraRendu supports a wide range of playback systems and protocols, including:

* Roon Ready
* Squeezelite
* DLNA/OpenHome
* HQPlayer NAA
* AirPlay
* Spotify Connect

It supports PCM resolutions up to 768 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512, depending on the connected DAC and selected playback mode.

Sonore ultraDigital – high-quality DDC with dedicated clocking

The matching Sonore ultraDigital is a highly capable digital-to-digital converter, or DDC.

It takes the USB audio output from the ultraRendu and converts it into carefully clocked digital signals for connection to a wide range of DACs. This makes the combination particularly useful in systems where BNC S/PDIF or I²S is preferred over a direct USB connection.

The ultraDigital is considerably more than a simple USB adapter. It features its own dedicated, high-quality low-jitter clocking architecture, which is one of the key reasons why the unit remains so highly regarded and can still compete with many much newer digital interfaces and transports.

Digital outputs and capabilities include:

* BNC S/PDIF: PCM up to 192 kHz and DSD64 via DoP
* LVDS I²S via HDMI: PCM up to 384 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512
* Several selectable I²S formats for compatibility with a wide range of DACs
* Dedicated high-quality internal clocking
* Powered directly via USB from the ultraRendu

Combined with the ultraDigital DDC, the ultraRendu can still meet virtually any modern digital-transport requirement:

Ethernet in – USB, BNC S/PDIF or I²S out.

Tomanek ULPS linear power supply

The system includes a substantial Tomanek Ultra Linear Power Supply, configured specifically for 7 V DC / 2.5 A.

This is a proper linear power supply rather than a generic switching adapter. Its fixed 7 V output is an excellent electrical match for the ultraRendu.

I am only selling the system because I am restructuring my audio setup, and I am genuinely reluctant to let it go.
