This is one of the sought-after Korean "S9" Squiers from the Samick factory in the late 1980s / early 1990s period, well known among players for having noticeably better build quality and feel than many later budget models. It has all the classic Precision Bass character — warm low end, punchy mids, and that unmistakable Fender-style tone that works in virtually any style of music.

The bass is in very good condition for its age and has clearly been well looked after. The dark finish paired with the tortoiseshell-style pickguard gives it a really classy vintage appearance, and it looks every bit the part on stage or in the studio. There are naturally some small signs of use consistent with a vintage instrument, but nothing major or concerning.
