Ansh’r blames Stone for Lorelei’s death and has come to Earth to kill him. Elsewhere, N’golth and Erisha of the T’srri monitor the battle and take an interest in Jamie. Seeing Valaria about to retaliate in her monster form, Ansh’r fires a lethal blast at her. Stone screams that she is just a child and steps into the path of the beam. Instead of dying, however, he grows his own bio-tech armor into a larger mecha form. Seeing this, Ansh’r stands down, declares Lorelei chose well in Stone, and reveals his attack was a ruse to test Stone’s character and ability.
