This is one of the sharpest lens nikon has ever made. The sharpness of this lens is mind blowing.
This is a macro lens and good for taking close up photos.
The bokeh of this lens is very beautiful too.
It doesnt have a lens cap.
Please note that its a manual lens and does not auto-focus but it will do metering (auto exposure) on semi-pro bodies onwards (Nikon D7000 onwards).
